Construction type Of FIBC Bags –

U Panel FIBC Bags
U Panel Bags-

U Panel bags are constructed with three body panels with one continuous fabric that forms two sides and bottom, and the remaining two sides are formed by two additional pieces of fabric sewn to a larger piece of fabric. The U-panel bags maintain a square shape when filled and can be custom made to the buyer’s standards with different safe working loads (SWLs) 1000 pound to 4000 pounds and safety factors from 5:1 to 6:1.

U-Panel bags are the most commonly used Bulk Bags as their U-Panel design allows the bag to carry any type of product like granules, pellets, flakes, etc.

Circular bags

Circular bags are made with a circular/tubular seamless piece of PP woven fabric that forms all four sides of the bag, allowing stitching only for the bag’s top and bottom parts. Despite having a circular construction, the bag still resembles a square bag which busts out the common misconception with circular bags regarding their bulging in shape when the bags are filled.

The seamless tubular shape of these bags is ideal for hygroscopic and fine materials such as wheat, flour, or carbon. . the bags can be custom made to the buyer’s standards with different safe working loads (SWLs) 1000 pound to 4000 pounds and safety factors from 5:1 to 6:1.

Lifting options- corner loops, cross-corner loops, hood lifts, sleeve lifts, ancillary loops, double stevedore straps, and single stevedore straps.

Circular FIBC Bags
  • They are permitted in dust zones 21-22 with MIE > 3 mJ.
  • Useful for the prevention of combustible dust air mixtures.
  • Ideal for transportation of dry, flammable, and non-flammable products/powders.
  • Not supposed to be used in environments surrounding flammable solvents or gases.
Four Panel FIBC Bags
  • Ideal for products with MIE >1000 mj.
  • Transportation of non-flammable products.
  • Suitable to be used where flammable solvents and gases are not present.
4 Panel Bags-

As evident from its name, the bag is constructed with four individual pieces of PP woven fabric and a separate piece of fabric to form the bag’s squared structure. A four-panel bag will hold the shape even better than a U-panel or a circular bag. The bag can help save transportation and storage costs as they retain their squared shape and the bags are easier to stack.

The 4-Panel bags are the ideal choice to transport chemicals, minerals, salts, fertilizers, resins, pellets, or fine powders. The 4-panel bags can be custom-made to the buyer’s standards with different safe working loads (SWLs) 1000 pound to 4400 pounds and safety factors from 5:1, 6:1, and 8:1.

Baffle Bags/Q-Bags/Form Stable Bags/Cube Bags

baffle bags

What are Form-Stable Bags or Baffle Jumbo Bags? ?

Baffle bags have helped many industries to save on storage, transportation, and on stacking abilities. Baffles are basically extra fabric panels or pieces of fabric or nets sewn evenly on all four corners of an FIBC bag; 4-panel baffle bags are usually the first choice of many users worldwide; however, baffles can be placed inside U-Panel or Circular bags also.

Why is it important to have Baffles inside the bags ?

FIBC bags are flexible in nature, and no matter how rigid the body fabric is, the chances of bulging are always there. Placement/reinforcement of baffles inside the bags helps the bag retain its shape, and the bulging effect is controlled with baffles’ help.

What are the different types of Baffles ?

PP woven fabric baffles, these baffles are custom made based on the intended use of the bag and the product that will be filled inside the bag, baffles can be uncoated, coated, or one side coated, the ports of baffles could be round, square, diamond, oval or triangular in shape.

Net baffles

have solved the problem that was a constraint with regular PP woven baffles as some larger flow-able materials could have issues flowing to the corners of the FIBC bags, and that is where Net Baffles shine. The placement of Net baffles is similar to the standard baffles. The baffles will have horizontally knitted yarns sewn into the bag, which offers stability and the easier flow of the material inside the bag.

Tie String Baffle

bag is also an economical option for those who do not want standard baffles or the Net baffles. Tie String baffles are similar to the standard baffles. The baffles will have horizontally knitted Tie-Strings into the bag, which offers stability and the easier flow of the material inside the bag.

Baffle Liner Bags

Bags work on the same principle as the other two baffle placement methods inside the bags. Still, in this case, the PE baffles are sealed inside a PE liner which provides stability and extra protection of a barrier for the FIBC bags. The liners can be custom-made to specific requirements.

One Loop /Two Loop

one loop two loop fibc bags

What are One loop/ Two Loop FIBC Bags?

These bags are also known as single loop and double loop bags; bags are made from a single piece of circular/tubular fabric which is extended to create one or two lifting loops based on the customer’s requirements; this special construction eliminates the need of having an extra set of loops as the bag can be lifted from the extended fabric which formed the loops at the top. An extra colored piece of fabric is wrapped around the top that separates different bags per their applications.

What are the advantages of using One Loop/Two Loop FIBC Bags?

Multiple bags can be lifted simultaneously compared to the lifting methods of standard FIBC bags with corner or cross corner loops where a forklift is required and can only handle one bag at a time. The unique construction makes them easier to load in bulk quantities in trains or vessels where forklifts are of no use

These bags offer a great many benefits in terms of cost savings due to their loading efficiencies

Industrial usages of One Loop/Two Loop FIBC Bags?

One Loop/Two Loop FIBC Bags can be made with different SWLs ranging from 500kgs to 1500kgs, and the SF could be 5:1 or 6:1. The bags are predominantly used in the agriculture sector. The bags can also be used for packing hazardous products like Ammonium Nitrate as the bags can comply with the testing standards of UN or European guidelines for dangerous goods.
